Truck Dispatch & Cold Chain Handling
How we handle refrigerated loads. The truck will be ready after the payment is completed. For rates, contact me, call me.
1. Set-points
Each load is assigned a commodity-specific set-point and range at booking (for example, apples 1–4 °C; green bananas 13–14 °C; processing potatoes 8–12 °C). Mixed loads are only accepted where products are compatible. For Shimla storage apple bulk orders, the truck will be ready after the payment is completed.
2. Pre-cooling
Produce is pre-cooled at origin before loading wherever pre-cooling infrastructure is available. Reefers are pre-conditioned to set-point before doors open for loading.
3. Monitoring
Reefers carry GPS and temperature logging. Excursions outside the agreed range for a sustained period trigger an alert to the logistics desk, which contacts the driver and records corrective action.
4. Evidence at handover
On request, the trip log — position, temperature trace and door events — is shared with the consignee as part of delivery documentation.
5. Exclusions
Delays caused by road closures, landslides, strikes, regulatory checks or consignee unloading delays are outside these SLAs, though the desk will keep the consignee informed.
