How we grade and load Shimla apples
Fruit is checked for size, colour, firmness and surface defects before packing. Bruised, hail-marked, soft or undersized apples are taken out, and the remaining fruit is packed by count into the box type you choose. Boxes are stacked and secured in the truck in front of our team, and we share loading photos on WhatsApp so you can see your consignment before it leaves.

Shimla apples: varieties and harvest season
Royal Delicious is the backbone of the Shimla crop, alongside Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Rich-a-Red and newer colour strains such as Super Chief, Scarlet Spur and Gala. Harvest moves uphill through the season: lower belts around Kotgarh and Theog pick first, and higher orchards around Narkanda, Kotkhai and Jubbal follow.
The Shimla apple season usually runs from late July to October, with the main Royal Delicious arrivals in August and September. Storage quality lots are picked in the middle of the season, when maturity, colour and firmness are best balanced for cold storage.
