Terms of Settlement
How rates are locked, invoiced and settled.
1. Rate lock
A rate is locked when the desk confirms commodity, grade, quantity, destination, dispatch window and price in writing (WhatsApp or email) and the 50% advance payment is received before loading the truck. For all apple consignments: 50% advance payment before loading the truck, and 50% after truck dispatch.
2. Price basis
Quotes state their basis — ex-mandi, ex-pack-house, FOR destination or FOB port — and whether freight, packing, market fee and GST are included.
3. Invoicing & payment
Invoices are issued against dispatch with weight slips. The remaining 50% is payable after truck dispatch. Bank transfer details are shared only through official company channels — confirm them by phone before paying.
4. Weight & quality adjustments
Adjustments follow the Quality Tolerance Policy and are settled by credit note or adjustment in the next invoice.
5. Disputes
Disputes are first addressed between the desks. Unresolved matters are subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, unless the contract states otherwise.
